JCA 2019 Workshop Speaker

Benjamin Grandey

Climate Scientist, PhD in Atmospheric Physics

Benjamin completed his PhD in atmospheric physics at the University of Oxford in 2012.  He subsequently worked for seven years as a climate scientist at a research institute in Singapore, using global climate model simulations to investigate how haze affects the climate.  Having recently transitioned to a career break, he now spends his time parenting two young children, studying theology part-time, and volunteering.

He and his wife volunteer on the coordinating team of the Perspectives course, a discipleship curriculum designed to envision Christians to have a bigger view of God and His purposes, and to equip them to fulfil their individual role within those purposes.  Benjamin and his family are members of Living Waters Methodist Church
