Elton is currently the Evangelist-in-Charge at Gloria Church, Evangelical Lutheran Church Hong Kong. For the last several years, he has developed a one-of-a-kind ministry initiative – spiritual formation through community farming – reaching out to and nurturing secondary school students in his northern NT church.

Because of this on-ongoing ministry, he has cultivated close relations with the communities, particularly the farmers in the nearby rural neighbourhoods. With this practical experience, he has gradually formed a very hands-on community-based perspective and appreciation on the land and farming issues in Hong Kong.
