Lucille G. Dejito

Director of Legal Interventions for International Justice Mission (IJC), Cebu Field Office

Lucille is a lawyer in the Philippines who serves as the Director of Legal Interventions in the International Justice Mission, Cebu Field Office. In this role, she leads a team of special counsels who serve as private prosecutors in criminal cases involving online sexual exploitation of children (OSEC) in the Visayas Region. Her team works alongside law enforcement partners and public prosecutors in providing victim legal representation in court and securing perpetrator accountability. Her role also includes developing strategic prosecution partnerships in view of scaling prosecution efforts and doing casework through partners.

She has been with IJM for 6 years now. Prior to her current role as Director of Legal Interventions at IJM, she served as a private prosecutor in commercial sex trafficking cases in Cebu, Philippines.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the University of the Philippines. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of San Carlos. Currently, she is working on her Master’s Program in Social Work.
