Lydia Bowden

Director of Strategic Partnerships of IJM Singapore

Originally from America, Lydia has been living in Singapore for the past seven years with her husband, Jonathan, and two small children. She holds an undergraduate degree in Social Work and a Masters in International Development, and has previously lived and worked in Moscow and London on issues related to forced migration and human trafficking.

While in Singapore, Lydia established Redemption Hill Church’s Mercy and Justice ministry, overseeing local and international partnerships and facilitating volunteer opportunities for over 100 people. In February 2019, Lydia launched the Singapore office of the International Justice Mission (IJM), a global anti-slavery organization that protects the poor from violence throughout the developing world. IJM partners with local authorities to rescue victims of violence, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors, and strengthen justice systems.
