In 2012, Thomas took on a new role as Country Project Manager and moved with his wife Rachel to Chiang Mai, Thailand to establish Care for Children's first pilot project outside of China. The Thailand project has been a great success, and following an agreement with the government, the project looks to expand to 15 new sites throughout Thailand. Based now in Hanoi, Vietnam, Thomas has been a core member of Care for Children for the past 13 years and continues with many responsibilities including oversight of SE Asia for Care for Children.
